Negotiations on goods and services were held with the member states within the framework of Azerbaijan's membership in the World Trade Organization

Within the framework of Azerbaijan's membership in the World Trade Organization, the delegation of Azerbaijan visited Geneva, Switzerland, on December 18-22, 2023, in order to hold negotiations on goods and services with member states, as well as technical consultations with WTO Secretariat experts on a number of topics.

Within the framework of the visit, negotiations were held on services with Saudi Arabia, goods with Sri Lanka, goods and services with the Russian Federation, discussions were held with WTO Secretariat experts on the Investment Facilitation Agreement, Fisheries Subsidies Agreement, Joint Initiative on Internal Regulation of Services, Notification of State Trading Enterprises . In addition, a meeting and discussions were held with Mr. Dzhang, Deputy General Director of the WTO.
